This policy explains what personal data Real Towel collects, why, and what your rights are. It is written in plain English and kept deliberately short. (This is a good-faith template, not legal advice; please have it reviewed before relying on it.)
Who we are
This site is operated by Real Towel (the "data controller"). For any privacy question, contact us through the contact page.
What we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum.
- Contact form. When you message us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write. This is so we can read and reply to your enquiry.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our host may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
- No accounts, no tracking profiles. There is nothing to sign up for, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
Cookies and analytics
The site itself does not set marketing or tracking cookies. The interactive tools run entirely in your browser and store nothing on our servers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving the font files. If we add website analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Who processes your data
When you use the contact form, your message is delivered to us using Resend (resend.com), an email delivery provider, acting on our behalf. We do not share your data with anyone else except where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your message and any reasonable follow-up, then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it; or
- stop using it.
To make any of these requests, use the contact page. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
